Diana Jarvis has been a Nationally Certified Sign Language Interpreter for 13 years and has worked for the Cobb County School System since 2020. A native of Cobb County, Diana graduated from Wheeler High School and earned a degree in anthropology from The University of Georgia. Inspired by studying cultures, diversity, and inclusion, Diana would discover the Deaf community and would inevitably go back to school to further her education in Sign Language Interpreting. After ten years of freelancing in the college sector, she is excited to be back home in Cobb, where she currently serves at Kennesaw Mountain High School.
Diana feels passionately about people, inclusivity, and making safe spaces and platforms for people with different backgrounds. We are all enriched by sharing a stage, sharing a mic, and sharing our stories with one another. Diana is excited to join this amazing board of people and serve the community in a new way, empowering others to find their voices and share their stories!
