I grew up on the stage, performing for large crowds from age four to sixteen, and moved on to perform with a traveling theatre group for three years. I began writing and performing my music at age thirteen and have continued to follow that passion into my adult life.
I have served backstage in several capacities, including for the NYC Radio City Rockettes and Broadway’s CATS. I worked for many years for a light and sound company where I ran the office and organized events large and small, including lighting, staging, and all AV needs.
I am a professional educator in the Cobb County school system. I have taught across many settings, including home-based, private, elementary, middle, and high school, and tutored adult English language learners, high school students, and elementary students online. I am a middle school visual art teacher and the art director for our school theatre. In my curriculum for our AC Visual Arts 8th graders, I have curated lessons where students imagine, collaborate, and build all sets and props for our two school shows each year.
It is an honor and privilege to serve on the Board for PSBcreative, and one of my fondest memories with Pete was doing hair and makeup for Disney's The Lion King, as well as all the great memories we made with him as the music and theatre teacher of my four awesome kids!
